Using this datapoint, you can exchange any message with the control unit with the ADI protocol.
The contents of the incoming telegrams are always sent to the control unit, while the return messages are inserted or not in a telegram
according to the VerboseLevel parameter setting.
5 Host Type
The telegram is sent only after reading the datapoint HOST TYPE, and contains information about the control unit to which the interface
is connected. The information is collected from the interface at the exit from the reset.
If the datapoint is queried before the interface has collected data on the control unit, the telegram contains the text string ????????;
otherwise, it contains the following information (in the example this is a City1Evo version 1.6): +0201v16
+ Indicates that the control unit is responding to ADI messages; If the control unit stops responding, it sends a -
0201 Control unit code, different for each type of device.

11 Gate Status
The control unit identifies 5 operating states plus one anomaly, which can be sent to a device ("Warning Light") that can be displayed to
the user.
0: Idle state (WL off)
1: Gate opening (WL slow blinking)
2: Gate closing (WL fast blinking)
3: Stop, open gate without automatic closing (WL on solid)
4: Pause, open gate with automatic closing count (WL on solid with short interruptions)
255: Anomaly (WL very fast blinking)
The interface sends this datapoint every time it changes its value, or if a reading is made. In order for the control unit to send status
information on the ADI interface, you must activate the ADI device recognition menu.
It is possible to determine which messages of the control unit, received on the ADI, must be sent on
the bus in datapoint CUSTOM:
• Do not send any messages
• When a telegram arrives on datapoint CUSTOM, which is sent to the control unit, the first
message received from the control unit is sent to the bus: this message is the response from the
control unit to the message received from the bus.
• Any incoming message from the control unit is sent to the bus, therefore also status changes and
error messages.
