Make sure that the color is applied evenly and avoid paint
thicknesses of over 0.1 mm. Proceed with further mounting
steps only when the paint has dried properly. Please also refer
to the paint's Technical Data and Safety Data Sheet available for
download from the online catalogue at www.boschsecurity.com.

Put the red dust cover on the detector base. Make sure that
the detector cover sits tightly on the guideways inside the
base.
Tape all openings on the bottom of the detector base.
Apply the paint.
