ORIGINAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
An automatic charger designed to charge both normal and
maintenance-free 6 V / 12 V starter batteries (lead-acid
accumulators) as well as AGM / lead-acid (MF, VRLA)
batteries used in cars.
The charger is controlled by a microprocessor which, when
the accumulator is charged, switches the charger
automatically into a charged mode where the microprocessor
maintains targeted charging without overcharging or
damaging the accumulator.
In order to ensure safe and proper use of the charger, this
manual must be thoroughly studied before use.
Safety instructions
Only intended for charging lead-acid accumulators.
Always connect the accumulator first and then the charger
into the 230V mains. Explosive gases – do not use open fire
while handling. Provide adequate ventilation during charging.
Do not smoke, drink or eat while charging.
For indoor use only. Protect from moisture. Protect from
children. Do not open the charger. Do not shorten cables.
If the charger body or cable is damaged, the product cannot
be used. Pay attention to the safety of use during use – risk
of electric shock.
When handling batteries, we recommend the use of
protective glasses, gloves and protective clothing.
In case of contact with the electrolyte, immediately wash the
affected area with plenty of water, if necessary seek medical
attention. Never short the pole terminals.
Check the functionality of the device before each use.
This device must not be used by persons (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or psychic abilities or persons
with a lack of experience in operating these devices or with a
lack of necessary knowledge. These persons can only use
the device under the supervision of an experienced person,
who ensure their safety or instruct them how to use the
device. Ensure that children do not play with the device.
The accumulator on the water (e.g. in a dinghy or a boat)
must be dismantled and it is essential to charge it on land!
Car batteries that have not been used for a long time may
not work properly due to spontaneous discharge or
sulphation. These batteries cannot be charged.
The battery charger must not be used as a replacement for a
power supply. When charging the battery, never start the
vehicle engine. We recommend removing the battery from
the vehicle before charging. Refer to the vehicle
documentation for the procedure. This device is not
designed for trade, craft or industrial use. We do not assume
any warranty when this device is used in a such way.
Please observe the operating instructions for the car, radio,
navigation system, etc. One or more fuses are integrated
into the charger. If the fuse is damaged, replace it with a new
one with the same amount.

Instructions for charging:
For batteries with cell closures, remove the cell closures
ź
and check out the status of the battery charging. If the
electrolyte level is below the recommended level, add
distilled water.
For batteries without cell closures, carefully follow the
ź
manufacturer's charging instructions.
Make sure that the vehicle's ignition is switched off (if the
ź
accumulator is connected in the vehicle).
Connect the charger, always follow these steps:
ź
Insert the positive clamp of the charger (red) to the
ź
positive (+) terminal of the accumulator.
Connect the negative clamp of the charger (black) to the
ź
negative (-) terminal of the accumulator.
Plug the 230V plug into the mains.
ź
The charger automatically detects if a 6V or 12V
ź
accumulator is connected.
When the 12V accumulator is connected, the MODE
ź
button allows you to select the charging modes.
Standard mode – charging current 2A. Suitable
ź
especially for auto mobile accumulators.
Winter mode – charging current 2A. Use this mode at
ź
temperatures below + 5 °C.
The top row symbols indicate that the accumulator is
ź
being charged.
Poor polarity or short circuit indicator light - disconnect
ź
the charger from the socket and connect the battery
correctly.
When the accumulator is fully charged, all 4 top row lights
ź
light up, charging is interrupted, and charger switches to
maintenance mode where the microprocessor controls
pulse charging to keep the accumulator in a charged
state.
Always disconnect the charger from the 230V mains and
ź
after then from the accumulator after charging.
If you have opened the battery cell closures, you must
ź
close them again.
Warning:
Heavily discharged and damaged car batteries can not be
charged by using this charger. If the 12V car battery voltage
drops below 8V, the microprocessor in the charger will mark
the battery as damaged and will not charge it!
If the 12V car battery voltage drops below an acceptable
level, the charger can evaluate this car battery as 6V and will
not charge it properly!
The manufacturer does not take responsibility for accidents
or damages resulting from non-compliance with this manual.
Changes in text, design, and technical specifications could
be changed without previous warning and we reserve the
right to change them.
Disposal and recycling
Do not dispose power tools and devices into
the household waste!
According to European Directive 2012/19 / EC
on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) and in the enforcement of national
law, used power tools must be collected
separately and shipped to an appropriate
recycling plant.
