3. OPERATION AND USE

General
- After connection to the power supply, the motion sensors are
ready for use after 1-2min (warm-up time). You can set the degree
of sensitivity by means of the setting screw (fig.11). The fabric
settings are suitable for use of the motion sensor under normal
circumstances. If the motion sensor has a degree of sensitivity
that is either too high or too low, you can optimize the detection
by means of the setting screw.
- You can test the detection zones by means of the built-in walk
test (fig.12).
Note: Test one motion sensor at a time. In test position B, the LED
lights every time the sensor detects motion. After the walk test is
finished, set the jumper to position A.
4. TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible cause
1. Incorrect connection.
2. The sensor is not
powered (24V on
terminals 1 and 2).
1. Front panel not fitted.
2. Incorrect location.
3. The lens is covered/
dirty or defective.
Proposed solution
1.Check whether the sensor is
connected as shown in fig.7 or 8.
2.Check whether the control module is
connected correctly and the sensor
is powered.
1. Fit the front panel.
2. Position the sensor as shown in
fig.1, 2, 3 and 5.
3. Remove the cover/clean the
sensor as described in '5. Product
maintenance' If the lens is defective,
the sensor has to be replaced.
