IRONING RECOMMENDATIONS

Check before ironing whether the garment which is to be ironed has a label with ironing
instructions on it and follow them. Otherwise choose the correct temperature based on
the type of fabric. The recommended temperature and steam settings are:
Label
Synthetics (e.g. nylon, viscose),
silk, velvet
Wool
Cotton, linen
Not suitable for ironing
• Delicate items of clothing should be ironed inside out.
• Sort the items of clothing based on the ironing temperature and start with the gar-
ments which require the lowest temperature. If you reduce the temperature on the
device, wait a few minutes until the bottom of the iron has cooled down slightly be-
fore you continue ironing.
• For an optimum ironing result, we recommend that you dry-iron the fabric after
steam-ironing it in order to remove the moisture from it.
