3.2 Reasonably foreseeable misuse

Any use other than that defined under the „intended use" or which goes beyond that use is
considered improper use!
For any damage resulting from improper use
• the operator bears the sole responsibility.
• the manufacturer accepts no liability for any damages.
Rebuilding or modifications
Unauthorised rebuilding or modifications of the chair are not permitted for reasons of safety and
render the warranty invalid. This also applies when welding support parts. The electromagnetic
properties can be affected by additions or changes of any kind to the product. Therefore please
do not modify the chair without consultation and written consent from the manufacturer.
Spare and wear parts and aids
Only use genuine spare and wear parts or those approved by the manufacturer. The use of third
party spare parts does not guarantee the safety of the product and can lead to malfunctioning.
The manufacturer shall not accept liability for damage caused by the use of non approved spare
and wear parts or aids.

WARNING!
Risks can occur because of improper use. The following examples are
considered improper use:
• Exceeding or failing to comply with the technical values specified for
normal operation.
• Operating the chair after removal of adjustable protecting guards.
• Trying to carry out maintenance, fault rectification or other repairs
without disconnecting the electric drive system beforehand.
• Adjustment of the sitting/lying position although another person
(especially children or pets) is located in the danger zone.
• Standing on the chair or using it as a ladder (especially the footrest).
• Chair is used for transportation of persons.
• Sitting on the arm rest.
• Sitting down without locking the brakes beforehand.
• Using the chair outside, a wet area or in proximity of
explosive / flammable gasses or fumes.
• Opening, removing or damaging the covers and enclosures
(damage by pets).
• Positioning the chair in close proximity to sources of heat, for example
a heating or open fire.
• Smoking in the chair.
