8 Evaluation and completion
8.1

Evaluation

W If the digital display does not change color (display green) during the test step, the test specimen
is sufficiently leaktight in accordance with the specifications.
W If the color changes (display red), check the maximum permitted pressure drop according to the
valve system size:
– Up to 6 valves: max. permitted pressure drop up to 5.0 bar
– 8 valves: max. permitted pressure drop up to 4.5 bar
– 10 valves: max. permitted pressure drop up to 4.2 bar
– 12 valves: max. permitted pressure drop up to 4.0 bar
If the pressure drop is higher, the leak is too high.
O Check the valve system and observe the troubleshooting information.

Completion

Before leaving the test station, take the following measures:
1. To exhaust the test specimens, close the ball valve (1) and open the ball valve (2).
2. Separate the power supply from the network.

Possible cause Troubleshooting
Incorrect pilot air Check your pilot air configuration and if
configuration. necessary apply pilot air to connections X12
and X14.
Incorrect base plate Use a base plate for double solenoid valves or
used. exchange the corresponding pilot blanking
plate with a pilot valve.
Incorrect tightening Check the tightening torques and make sure
torque or seals not fitted the seals are positioned correctly and
properly. undamaged.
Improperly mounted Check that the components (base plates and
component. valve functions) have been mounted correctly
(mounting location/orientation).
