Antenna: Setup in the barn
In order to achieve the longest wireless transmission
90°
range, the transmitting and receiving antennas have to be
90°
placed outside the walls of the stable and home, pointing
towards each other.
Unplug the camera and replace the black antenna with
one end of the antenna cable (25 m). As the antenna has
to be placed outside the wall, make a proper hole in order
to lead the cable outside. Don´t bent the cable for more
than 90° and take care not breaking the wire inside. Mount the antenna at the place having the best sight to the coun-
terpart (house) and fix it temporarily with the screws attached. Slide the shrink tube on to the antenna cable and leave
it until the final step of the installation. Do not heat until final installation! Connect the antenna cable to the antenna.
Mount antenna like illustration. Antenna shall points towards the counterpart with elements horizontally against ground.
Pay attention that no metal part is within a meter of the antenna. This may influence the signal.
Tuning the signal reception
Recommendation: ask somebody to help in order that one person is adjusting the antenna and the other one is checking
the picture on the LCD monitor.
Power on the camera with the included 12V power adaptor connecting to wall outlet and take the LCD-monitor with you
outside your house. Choose a position where you intend to place your receiving antenna. The picture quality should be
acceptable but could be a little unstable as the LCD is less sensible as the antenna.
Important!
At this stage is very important that you check all steps properly if the picture quality is not acceptable. Pls inspect cable
connectivity and position of antenna carefully. Further locate any obstacle could block the signal while walking with the
LCD toward the antenna.
