Assembly and start-up

4.2.1 Assembly

Fluted filter
1. Remove the container cover and make sure that

the fluted filter is inserted correctly and firmly (see
Fig. 2).
2. Then put the container cover back on and close
this using the fastener hooks attached on the sides
(see Fig.1, No. 3)
Suction hose
3. Insert the end of the suction hose (see Fig. 1, No.
4) in the inlet opening. The hose is secured by
turning it clockwise.
Suction tube
4. Then insert the suction tube (see Fig. 1, No. 1)
onto the suction hose (see Fig. 1, No. 4). Unwind
the power cord (see Fig. 1, No. 2) fully to start up
the appliance.

4.2.2 Starting use

Never use the appliance without the fluted filter.
1. Connect the appliance to an earthed socket protected with an earth-leakage circuit brea-
ker (230 V ~ 50 Hz).
