Prior to using this pump you must ensure that:
• The pump is installed in a safe environment
• The pump enclosure has adequate drainage in the event of leakage
• The pipe-work is correctly sealed and supported
• The pump is primed correctly
• The power supply is correctly connected
• All steps have been taken for safe operation
Appropriate details for all of these items are contained in the following Installation and
Operating Instructions. Read these in their entirety before switching on this pump. If you
are uncertain as to any of these Installation and Operating Instructions please contact your
Davey Dealer or the appropriate Davey office as listed on the back of this document.

The Davey StarFlo pool pump has been designed to circulate swimming pool water in
conditions set out in the European Standard for swimming pool water quality (EN55014-
2:1997 A1, EN55014-2:2008 A2, EN6100-3-2:2014, EN6100-3-3:2013, EN62233:2008)
or equivalent. They should not be used for any other purpose without first consulting your
Davey Dealer.
Every Davey StarFlo pool pump is thoroughly tested against a number of pressures,
voltage, current and mechanical performance parameters. Davey's advanced pump
manufacturing technology provides reliable and efficient pumping performance that lasts
and lasts.
THIS APPLIANCE CAN BE USED BY CHILDREN AGED FROM 8 YEARS AND ABOVE
AND PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPABILITIES
OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IF THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN
SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTION CONCERNING USE OF THE APPLIANCE IN A SAFE
WAY AND UNDERSTAND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. CHILDREN SHALL NOT PLAY
