Check you have the following equipment:
● ELC-W Battery nutrunner.
- Battery.
- Charger.
- e-DOCK device to connect the tool to the
PC.
● PC with an Open Protocol interface.
● Desoutter WIFI access point.
- Power cord.

● Ethernet network.
● Ethernet cable (not supplied) to connect the
Wi-Fi access point to the PC.
● Standard PC connected to the Ethernet
network and equipped with the Desoutter
Elit Suite software to create and control the
tightening processes.
Before starting
Before starting the set up, check that you have
the following information on hand:
● WIFI access point
Parameters
IP address
Network name (SSID)
Security type
Encryption type
Security key
● ELC-W Battery Nutrunner
Parameters

● Plant network
Parameters
Communication port
Subnet Mask
Check with your local Desoutter representative
how to set up your specific system environment.

Wi-Fi access point
● Contact your local Desoutter representative
for more information.
Battery nutrunner
When delivered, all battery nutrunners
are set with the same communication
parameters.
● Change the battery nutrunner IP
address and the communication port
to avoid settings issues.
● Insert the battery pack and plug the e-DOCK
as shown page 14.
● Connect the e-DOCK to the PC USB port. A
New serial port is created.
● Launch ELIT CONFIG software and select
"WIFI Tool" tab on the left top of the screen.
● Change the parameters according to your
installation.
