Location and Function of Parts and Controls

1 TALLY indicator
When two or more cameras are used together, connected to
a video switcher or control console through camera control
units (CCU), this indicator functions as a tally indicator.
When the picture from the host camera is selected using the
switcher or console, this indicator lights.
2 SHARP (sharpness) control
Turn to adjust the sharpness of the picture on the viewfinder
screen.
3 BRIGHT (brightness) control
Turn to adjust the brightness of the picture on the viewfinder
screen.

4 CONTR (contrast) control
Turn to adjust the contrast of the picture on the viewfinder
screen.
5 8-pin connector
Connect to the VF (viewfinder) connector on the camera.
This connector carries the video signal, tally signal and
power.
1) These controls affect only the viewfinder screen. They have no effect
on the signal being output by the camera.
