in accordance with the regulations applying in each country.

A COMPLETE BATH
In general, a complete spa bath consists of the following stages:
- Filling
- Hydro-massage
- Shower
- Cleaning cycle
- Emptying
1. Filling
Stopper the waste outlet by turning the control to the left and fill the
bath until all the jets are covered with water. There is a safety system
which prevents the bath from operating when the water level is low.
Use duly treated and disinfected tap water. Do not use well water
without the due sanitary guarantees according to current regu-
lations.
2. Hydro-massage
See the sections further on for full information.
3. Shower
After bathing, we recommend a refreshing shower and a few
minutes’ rest.
4. Cleaning cycle
Once you have finished your bath, this is the best time to start the
cleaning cycle. See the following pages for further details.
5. Emptying
After the cleaning cycle is completed, empty the bath by turning
the pop-up waste control to the right.

WATER MASSAGE

Essentially, the water massage consists of a mixture of water and
air bubbles being pumped through jets located in the sides of the
bathtub. The water is aspirated directly from inside the bathtub
through the suction rose. The air is taken from the atmosphere
and passes through an control device. The water and air reach the
jets separately and become mixed together by means of Venturi-
effect aspiration.
POSITION OF THE JETS
Each stream of air an water that comes through the jets massages
only a small area of the body, so the right intensity is obtained. In
each model of bathtub the position of the jets has been studied
so as to massage key body areas. They are generally located at
the feet, knees, thighs, lumbar area and thorax/hips. In addition,
the jets can be directed at will, simply by pressing the centre
with your fingertip.
EFFECTS OF WATER MASSAGE
The action of the air bubbles on the body has been proven to be
highly beneficial for the health. The following effects are particularly
worth mentioning:
- Stimulates and improves skin hygiene and cardiovascular cir-
culation.
- Generally improves capillary and lymph circulation.
- Tones the muscles and oxygenates the skin.
- Particularly indicated in cases of muscle pain, lumbago, arthritis,
post-operative convalescence, stress and fatigue in general.

POINTS TO REMEMBER

DURATION OF BATH TIME
Remember that lying in the bath for too long can lead to fatigue
and be detrimental for your health. It is therefore not advisable to
use the spa functions for more than 20 minutes.
