USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1. Open the water tank lid and fi ll the water tank with cold drinking water. The water level
should not exceed the MAX level as indicated on the water gauge.
2. Swing the funnel holder out, put the funnel into the funnel holder, then place the fi lter
paper in the funnel. Make sure it is assembled correctly.
3. Add ground coff ee to the paper fi lter. Usually a cup of coff ee needs one level spoon of
ground coff ee, but you may adjust according to personal taste. Close the funnel holder.
A click sound will be heard when the funnel holder is closed completely.
4. Place the coff ee pot on the warming plate.
5. Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
6. Press the switch down. The indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will begin working.
NOTE! During the brewing process, you may remove the coff ee pot to serve coff ee
for a duration of no more than 30 seconds, and the coff ee maker will stop dripping
automatically. If the serving time exceeds 30 seconds, the coff ee will overfl ow the
funnel.
7. Once the coff ee is brewed, one minute after the coff ee stops dripping out, remove the
coff ee pot, pour and serve.
NOTE! The brewed coff ee you get will be slightly less than the water you have added as
some water is absorbed by the ground coff ee. DO NOT touch the cover, warming plate
and so on during operation as they are very hot.
8. When the process is fi nished, if you do not want to serve immediately, leave the
appliance on. The coff ee can be kept warm on the warming plate for 40 minutes and the
appliance will switch off automatically after 40 minutes. For an optimum coff ee taste,
serve just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coff ee maker off and disconnect the power supply after use.
CAUTION! Be careful when pouring the coff ee out, as you may burn yourself as the
temperature of freshly brewed coff ee is very hot.
