Starting the communication
To select [START] in the first display,
point the R100 at the product you
want to communicate with. A red indi-
cator light on the product will flash
rapidly, indicating that communication
has been established.
During the IR communication, there
must be visual contact between the
product and the R100.
The R100 can only communicate with
one product at a time. If the R100
comes into contact with more than one
product at a time, this must be pre-
vented by:
• holding the R100 closer to the prod-
uct or
• switching off the electricity supply to
the products not to be communi-
cated with or
• selecting the number allocated to
the product by means of [+] or [−]:
In the case of communication with
several products installed close to
each other, it is recommended to al-
locate unique numbers to all prod-
ucts:
In the case of bus communication, a
number must be allocated to each
product.
