Getting the Most From Your FireLite
Your FireLite is a USB 2.0 device, and is capable of very fast performance. You can
verify that your FireLite is operating at maximum USB 2.0 speeds by checking the
color of the status light on the top of your FireLite. If the status light is blue, your
FireLite is operating at maximum speed, in USB 2.0 Hi-Speed mode. When the status
light is green, it is operating in the slower USB 1.1 Full Speed mode.
If you'd like to upgrade your computer to take advantage of USB 2.0 Hi-Speed mode,
you can do so with the SmartDisk USB 2.0 PCI card, USB 2.0/FireWire PCI card, or
USB 2.0 CardBus card. For more information, visit SmartDisk.com.
