Conditions:
We have put all our technical experience and concern for quality in manufacturing ZODIAC automatic pool
cleaners. All our cleaners are subject to quality controls and are guaranteed against manufacturing defects.
However, if despite the care and know-how used in the manufacturing of our products, you were to call
upon the product guarantee, please note that said guarantee only applies to the replacement of faulty
parts, free of charge. Our models are regularly updated and improved to make the most of technological
advances. Such modifications and improvements cannot be added to previous models within the context
of the guarantee. All requests in relation to the guarantee must be addressed to your reseller.
For any warranty issue, please contact your local dealer.
Period of guarantee:
The guarantee for the PACER is limited to 2 YEARS from the date of the invoice to the first user.
Repairs or replacements made as part of the guarantee will not extend the guarantee period.
Object of the guarantee:
During the guarantee period defined above, any part recognised as faulty will be repaired or exchanged
by the manufacturer with a new part or a part in perfect operating condition. This guarantee covers
all faults relating to conformity as in force at the time the article is delivered.
In the event of a return to the workshop, return shipping costs will be borne by the user and labour
costs will be borne by the retailer.
The immobilisation and the prevention of use of an appliance in the event of any necessary repairs
will not give rise to compensation. The seller's legal guarantee will remain in force in compliance
with article 4 of decree n° 78- 464 of 24 March 1978. The legal guarantee of article 1641 of the
"Civil code" is applicable.
THIS GUARANTEE APPLIES PENDING STATUTORY PROVISIONS COMING INTO FORCE THAT HAVE NOT AS
YET BEEN PUBLISHED AT THE TIME OF THESE CONDITIONS GOING TO PRESS.
Transport damage:
Shipping is always at the users' risk. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the product is in
perfect condition before accepting the delivery. Under no circumstances will Zodiac be held responsible
for any damages incurred during transport.
WARNING: USE OF THE PACER IN A VINYL LINER POOL
Certain vinyl liner patterns are particularly prone to rapid surface wear and patterns may fade
caused by objects rubbing on the vinyl surface, such as pool brushes, pool toys, floaters, fountains,
chlorine dispensers, and automatic pool cleaners. Some vinyl liner patterns can be seriously scratched
or abraded simply by rubbing the surface with a pool brush.
Colours used for the printed patterns may also rub off during installation or when in contact with
objects in the pool. Zodiac® will not be responsible for damage to printed patterns, abrasion or
markings on vinyl liners, and the Limited Warranty will not cover these points.
Zodiac® will not be held responsible for any damage to the swimming pool lining (vinyl liner, reinforced
PVC, etc.) occurring as the result of an excessive level of disinfectant (chlorine, bromide, active
oxygen, etc.) or an incorrect pH value (outside the range of 6.8 minimum and 7.6 maximum).
Any such damages will be excluded from the guarantee.
