5. MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de cualquier trabajo de mantenimiento o limpieza saque siempre el enchufe
de la caja de corriente (enchufe de pared). No utilice nunca agua u otros líquidos
para limpiar las partes eléctricas de su pulidora.
Los aparatos de Ferax han sido diseñados para funcionar correctamente durante un largo
periodo de tiempo necesitando un mantenimiento mínimo. Manteniendo limpio el aparato y
usándolo correctamente, conseguirá alargar la vida útil de los aparatos.

Limpieza
Limpie regularmente el aparato con un paño, preferentemente después de cada uso.

When using electric machines always observe the safety regulations applicable in your
country to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Read the following safety
instructions and also the enclosed safety instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place!
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
The machine is double insulated in accordance with EN50144; therefore no earth
wire is required.
Replacing cables or plugs
If the mains cable becomes damaged, it must be replaced with a special mains cable available
from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's customer service. Dispose of old cables or plugs
immediately after replacing them with new ones. It is dangerous to connect the plug of a loose
cable to a socket.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine. The
minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm
completely.

The sander has been carried out with a dust bag (3) to keep the working surface clean. The
dust bag must be installed on the back side of the machine, on the opening. It is necessary to
empty the dust bag regularly for an efficient use.
Empty it as follows:
•
Turn the dust bag slightly and pull it out of the machine's adapter.
•
Empty the dust bag in a suitable place.
•
Push the dust bag on to the machine's adapter till it locks into place.
Remember that the dust extraction only works when using perforated sandpaper.
