Testing and start-up

Manual override
Operating the yellow control button
VS series LP04: press, turn with detent
1. Press the control button downwards from position 0
and turn it to the desired switching position; the control
button engages. The valve(s) switch(es).
2. Turn the control button back from the switching position
and release it. The valve only returns to the position 0
after the control button is turned back to the position 0.
Operating the red control button
VS series LP04: without detent
1. Press the control button downwards.
The valve(s) switch(es).
2. Release the control button; the control button and the
valve will automatically be reset to the position 0.
Start-up
1. Before switching the system on, ensure that it is in a
defined state!
2. Also ensure that all manual overrides are set to zero.
3. Switch on the operating voltage.
4. Switch on the compressed air supply.

Changing a valve
1. Turn off the system operating voltage and compressed
air.
2. Undo the two screws on top of the valve to be
exchanged with screwdriver PZ0.
3. Place the new valve in position. Make sure that the
connector and sealing are correctly positioned.
4. Tighten the screws with a maximum torque of 0.25 Nm.

Changing a push-in fitting
To change a push-in fitting it is necessary to have access
to the bottom side of the valve system.
1. Turn off the system operating voltage and compressed
air.
2. Pull out the clip.
3. Replace the fitting.
4. Put the new clip, which comes with the spare part kit,
into position.

Changing pilot air supply and exhaust
To change the pilot air supply from internal to external or
vice versa, follow the procedure below.
1. Turn off the system operating voltage and compressed
air.
2. Remove the three screws.
3. Remove the existing pilot air supply lid, and put the new
pilot air supply lid into position. Make sure that the
sealing is correctly positioned before assembling the
new lid.
4. Reassemble the three screws and tighten them with a
maximum torque of 0.25 Nm.
