Notes
• Be sure to power off the camorder before
plugging the viewfinder connector into
the VF connector on the camorder. If the
connector is plugged in while the power
is on, the viewfinder may not operate
correctly.
• Make sure that the viewfinder connector
is pushed fully into the VF connector on
the camorder. If the connector is not
firmly connected, the image may break
up, or the tally light may not operate
properly.

Detaching the Viewfinder

To detach the viewfinder from the
camcorder, conduct the attachment
procedure in reverse. When removing the
viewfinder from the camcorder, pull up the
stopper.

Detaching the Eyepiece

Detaching the eyepiece gives you a clear
view of the screen even with your eye away
from the viewfinder.

Turn the eyepiece lock ring fully
counterclockwise to line up the orange
match mark on the lock ring with the
orange match mark on the viewfinder
barrel.
