4.3.2 How to select the mode
The meter has two different modes to display readings. In measuring mode, only the current
reading will be displayed whereas in mean value mode, the current reading will be displayed along
with the number of values measured and the resulting mean value. You can switch modes by

Attention:
- The Fe and M probes can only measure and calibrate on ferromagnetic materials and
the NFe probe can measure and calibrate on ferromagnetic as well as non-
ferromagnetic materials.
The M probes do not come with a material plate, which means that a calibration must always be
carried out on the uncoated, ferromagnetic material surface. For correct calibration and
measurement, the material surface must be 10 times as large as the probe surface.
