with both hands. Wait until the machine has come to a standstill before placing it down.
6. Make yourself familiar with your working area and be alert for possible hazards, which you might
not hear due to the motor noise.
7. Remain aware and remain cautious about foreign objects like wire fences, roots, debris... which
may damage the tube. Thoroughly inspect the working area where the machine is to be used and
remove all wires and any other foreign objects likely to pose a hazard.
Only work in daylight or in good artificial light.
8. Stay alert
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate tool when you are tired, under the
influence of alcohol, prescription medicines or drugs

Residual risks
Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors.
The following hazards may arise in connection with the tool's construction and design:
a. Damage to lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.
Wear filtering mask protection while operating the power tool.
The use of this product may result in the creation of dust containing chemicals that may cause
respiratory or other diseases. These chemicals include compounds found in pesticides, insecticides,
fertilizers and herbicides. The risks associated with exposure to these products vary depending on
the frequency of this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well-
ventilated area and with approved personnel protective equipment, such as dust masks specifically
designed to filter microscopic particles.
b. Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
Wear hearing protection while operating the power tool.
The declared vibration total value has been measured in accordance with a standard test method
and may be used for comparing one tool with another.
The declared vibration total value may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
c. Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used over longer period
of time or not adequately managed and properly maintained.
Warning: The vibration emission during actual use of the power tool can differ from the declared
total value depending on the ways in which the tool is used.
There is the need to identify safety measures to protect the operator that are based on an
estimation of exposure in the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the operating
cycle such as the times when the tool is switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the
trigger time).
