G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage

G
Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac -
cordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
If the units are to be put out of operation

3 Applications and Accessories

This active speaker system combines a speaker sys-
tem, an amplifier and a receiving module for operation
with a wireless transmitter. It is equipped with a micro-
phone input and a input for an audio source with line
output level (e. g. CD player). A line output allows to
connect another active speaker system or an audio
recorder. Model TXA-150USB is additionally equipped
with a USB/SD card player.
The receiving module uses diversity technique* in
the UHF range 863.1 – 864.9 MHz, divided into 16
channels. For wireless audio transmission to the active
speaker system, e. g. the following transmitters from
the MONACOR product range are suitable:

TXA-800HSE Pocket transmitter with tie clip
microphone and headband

Hand-held microphone with

TXA-800ST

TXA-802CD

system with transmitting module
* Diversity technique: The transmitting signal is received by two
antennas placed at a distance from each other and then checked for
its quality. An electronic system will switch noiselessly to the antenna
with the highest signal quality.
The speaker system can be operated via the switch
mode power supply unit connected to a mains socket
or via the internal rechargeable lead gel battery to be
charged with the integrated charging part. Thus, it is
ideally suited for mobile applications, e. g. for lectures
or sales promotions. The lower side of the speaker
system is provided with a stand sleeve with a diameter
of 9 mm (
support. The protective shoulder bag TXA-150BAG is
available as an accessory; it is not necessary to
remove this bag for operation.
4 Power Supply / Charging the Battery
For operating the active speaker system via a mains
socket and/or for charging the internal battery, connect
the power supply unit provided to the jack DC IN 18V
(18) and via the mains cable provided to a mains
socket (100 – 240 V~/50 – 60 Hz). The green power
LED on the power supply unit will light up once it has
been connected to the mains socket.
In case of mains connection of the active speaker sys-
tem, the automatic charging for the battery will always
be active and the CHARGE LED (16) will light up:
LED shows red:
LED shows green:
For charging, it is not necessary to switch on the active
speaker system with the POWER switch (17); how-
ever, it can be operated as usual during charging.
After operation or after charging the battery, discon-
nect the power supply unit from the mains socket to
prevent unnecessary power consumption.
4.1 Replacing the rechargeable battery
G

type → see Specifications; otherwise the unit and
the battery may be damaged!
