What is a VacuCobra?
VacuCobra is a lifting device that uses vacuum from a
vacuum pump to hold and move a load thus creating
a smooth, safe and efficient operation.
Maximum lifting height for VacuCobra is 1,5 m and
maximum load capacity 20-50 kg (VC20-VC50 with
vacuumpump 685950) and 50 kg (VC40 with
vacuum pump 685960).
VacuCobra consists of two main
parts:
Lift unit:
- Swivel with suspension point
- Lift tube
- Suction head
- Suction foot
Motor unit:
- Vacuum pump with built-in silencer and filter unit
- Air tube
Installation
The vacuum pump can be mounted in a wide variety
of places and may only be connected by an authori-
sed electrician. When in suitable position, connect to
the power supply. A motor circuit-breaker must be fit-
ted and set to the nominal current shown on the motor
serial plate.

Connect air tube to nozzle on the top swivel.
Connect the air tube to the vacuum pump.
The lift tube is suspended from the top swivel in the
crane system/jib crane trolley. The lift unit must hang
freely so that unnecessary wear is avoided.
The suction foot is fitted with screws directly to the suc-
tion head.
Suspension should be adjusted so that the suction foot
does not reach the floor. Leave at least 15 cm free bet-
ween the floor and the lowest part of the suction foot.
During assembly you must make sure that the lift tube
can be moved freely and that it does not jam or become
exposed to unnecessary wear.
Plan the dimensions of the crane system or jib crane so
that you can work with VacuCobra over the whole hand-
ling area. Remember that a jib crane is more effective if
the lifting equipment is more often used at the outer part
of the jib arm.
Make sure that the crane system/jib crane is horizontal
so that the lift tube does not move laterally by its own
weight.
WARNING!
VacuCobra must not be used by anyone who has not
received proper training. Stay clear of the area under-
neath and above the load.

Bij 2 of meer ploegen wordt de garantieperiode gelijkmatig
verminderd.
