Power on the HPE StoreOnce 5500 System
(the power button is on the front of the unit).
The Power button LED flashes green during
the power-on sequence, and the Power button,
System Health and NIC status LEDs all show
steady green when the StoreOnce System is
powering up.
Step 11: Configure iLO during bootup
(optional)
To configure iLO manually during bootup press F9
and enter the network details and user credentials
(as noted in step 3).
Alternatively, the system will display the iLO DHCP
address during bootup. Make a note of it here so
you can configure iLO credentials after bootup.

Step 12: Configure basic network
After successful bootup the console screen will
display a login prompt.
Login using the default user name and password.
Default user name: Admin
Default password: admin
Remember to change the default user
TIP:
name and password after installation.
Run the basic network script net set address
to configure a static address for LAN port 1 (eth0).
The Admin user can then access the StoreOnce
GUI and CLI on the network to complete remaining
system setup tasks, such as creating a more
complex network configuration.

Step 13: Next steps
The StoreOnce System is now accessible on the
network and further configuration can take place
using the StoreOnce Management GUI or CLI.
Refer to the HPE StoreOnce 5500 System
Installation and Configuration Guide for instructions
on completing configuration. The guide contains
information on basic appliance configuration, such
as licensing, setting date and time, managing users,
setting up email, SNMP and Remote Support. It
also describes how to configure the remaining
network ports.
