Vertical adjustment

The vertical adjustment sets the height of the detection area. To adjust the instrument ver-
tically, first look up the vertical angle in the table and then set this angle with the pointer
on the vertical adjustment scale (printed on the left-hand side of the PC board). The ver-

tical angle is measured between the upper level of the detection zones and the imaginary
horizontal baseline of the detector.
The scale allows the detection area to be set between +10° (upwards) and -20° (down-
wards), in order to suit the mounting height and the area to be monitored.
