• Store the battery at room temperature in a dry area for best results.
• When transporting or temporarily storing the battery, the temperature
range should be from 20-30°C. Do not store the battery or model in a
car or direct sunlight whenever possible. If stored in a hot car, the bat-
tery can be damaged or even catch fire.

INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER BATTERIES

1. Push and slide off the transmitter battery compartment cover.
2. Install four AA batteries in the transmitter carefully keeping the correct
polarity of cells according to the marks inside of the battery compart-
ment. Alkaline batteries are the best for the long operation of your
transmitter.

TRANSMITTER CONTROLS

1. Transmitter Stick Mode Switch (Mode 1/Mode 2)
2. Power Switch ON/OFF
3. Throttle Trim (Mode 1)/ Elevator Trim (Mode 2)
4. Right Stick
Mode 1: Throttle Stick (Up/Down)/Aileron Stick (Left/Right)
Mode 2: Elevator Stick (Up/Down)/ Aileron Stick (Left/Right)
5. Aileron Trim
6. Elevator Trim (Mode 1)/Throttle Trim (Mode 2)
7. Left Stick
Mode 1: Elevator Stick (Up/Down)/Aileron Stick (Left/Right)
Mode 2: Throttle Stick (Up/Down)/Rudder Stick (Left/Right)
8. Reverse Switches, Mix Switches, Dual Rate (D/R) Switch
9. Transmitter Battery Indicator, Binding Indicator
10. Charger Indicator
11. Battery Cover
12. Charger port cover
NOTE: As it is common with models without aileron control, the
ruder control stick is swapped with the aileron control stick – the
rudder is "more handy" on the right stick then. Your SLING mini
follows the same pattern.
TRANSMITTER STICK MODES - ELEVATOR CONTROL ASSIGNMENT
In order to meet the different customer's requirement, the transmitter
features the stick mode switch function. You can switch between the
Mode 1 (the throttle control on the right stick) and Mode (the throttle
control on the right stick). The stick modes are basically equal it is just
a matter of your "feel". Please follow the following steps to switch the
mode from Mode2 to Mode1 (or the other way around):
1. Turn off the transmitter.
2. Centre both two sticks. CAUTION: You can switch the modes with
RECEIVER BATTERY CHARGING
Before we will proceed to the flight test it is necessary to charge the re-
ceiver (Rx) battery. The charger built in the transmitter allows you charg-
ing of Rx batteries anytime, anywhere.
1. Carefully remove the charging port cover on the back side of your trans-
mitter.
• Do not over-discharge the LiPo flight battery. Discharging the battery
too low can cause damage to the battery resulting in explosion and/
or fire.
• LiPo cells should not be discharged to below 3 V under load.
3. Turn on the power, check if the LED battery voltage indicator glows and
single beep sounds. If the LED remains off, check again polarity of the
batteries. If the LED blinks and you can hear continuous beeping, the
battery voltage is too low (total voltage <4.2 V) – install fresh bat-
teries.
