GTC (geothermal collector), is based on geothermal heat or any other source that can
provide constant water temperature between 0 → +8°C.
If GTC (geothermal collector) is connected, it will be permanently set to heat if the out-
side temperature (T1) < 0ºC.
Likewise it is set to cool whenever the conditions for bypass-cooling are fulfilled.
Connect the GTC pre-cooler/heater as follows: (See wiring diagram in the appendix)
Step Action
Connect the HAC 1 as described on page 5

2 Connect the control signal J11 (terminal 0 and 0-10V) to the GTC pre-
cooler/heater valve actuator.
3 Connect the 24 VAC trafo as described on the wiring diagram.
4 Connect the T1GTC duct sensor to the J1 (terminal T1GTC and 0V), and
place it in front (0,2 m.) of the GTC pre-cooler/heater coil in the T1 outdoor
air duct.
5 Power up the system
6 Connect a HRC 2 remote control to the ventilation unit
7 Follow the procedure in the HRC 2 Installer instruction to see and change the
setpoint for GTC pre-cooling/heating.
