Automatic operation

• Start the system by pressing
button 5S2. When the system is
operating, button 5S2 lights on.
• Stop the system by pressing
button 5S1.
• Upon automatic operation the
set point of the Vacon frequency
converter is adjusted by means
of button 5S3 and button 5S4.
• Reduce the set point by pres-
sing button 5S3.
• Increase the set point by pres-
sing button 5S4.
The actual set point is read in %
on the display T2. The set point is
maintained upon the next start.
Storage of electrical
material
The electrical material must be kept
in a dry and non-corrosive atmos-
phere with a temperature between
-10 and 55°C.
Transport of
electrical material
The electrical material must be
handled with care due to the sensi-
tive equipment.
Troubleshooting
(electrical
equipment)
If the system is not starting by
pressing button 5S2, and the infor-
mation "Cut/Sep" is shown on the
Vacon display followed by a red
error indication, the reason is:
• When T2 lights on, 4F4 or 4F6
are thermally disconnected and
must be reset.
• When T2 does not light on, MCB
4F8.1 or 4F8.2 are disconnected
and must be reset.
• In case of continual problems,
call in expert assistance.
Maintenance
of electrical
material
All preventive maintenance must
be made by authorized or trained
personnel.
Once a year thermal photos of con-
nections must be taken, alternati-
vely visual control must be made.
Once a year all insulation parts
must be checked especially for
moisture, dust and dirt in order to
secure that they observe the
demands on creepage/air distan-
ces.
Once a year the IP class for electri-
cal equipment must be checked.
Once a year all protection caps,
closing devices on the equipment
etc. must be checked in order to
secure that they are intact and that
all demands on protection against
direct contact of electrical parts are
observed.
