Your RUGOSURF 10G incorporates the translational mechanism along with the probe attached by
means of the articulated probe-holder.
The measurements can be taken by holding the gauge unit in your hand. But, you may also have it
resting on a height stand or just laid down on the workpiece to be measured. You may also use
additional supports to make the measurement easier. To check cylinders, use the probe guard that
came with the gauge unit.
The sub-group Probe-Holder permits the probe to swivel through to 90° for inspecting a groove to depth.
Attention: To obtain measurement with mentioned accuracy we highly recommend using the optional
probe SB50 (nr: 06960040)
