5.0 Display and operating elements

There is a round button on the Aqua Oxy pond aerator for switching the pond
aerator on and off; there is also an LED that functions as an operating indicator.

In addition there is a regulating valve on each hose for adjusting the outflow air
quantity. (Fig. 7)

GB Operating instructions
Electrical installations for garden ponds must correspond to the international
and national construction determinations. For your own safety, please
contact an electrical specialist for questions and problems!
Do not carry or pull the Aqua-Oxy by the power cord!
Keep the transformer and all connecting points dry!
Do not operate the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator if the cable is defective, the
housing is defective, or if the transformer housing is defective!
Only operate the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator on dry land!
The Aqua-Oxy pond aerator must be set up in such a manner that it cannot
fall into the water!
The Aqua-Oxy pond aerator may only be operated with the supplied
transformer!
Unplug the power plug before opening the housing!
Continuously illuminated green LED indicates problem-free operation
of the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator.
If the LED is not illuminated then there is malfunction (see section 9.0
Troubleshooting).
Regulating valve lever lengthwise relative to the hose: Maximum air quantity.
Regulating valve lever transverse to the hose: Valve is closed.
You must read and follow the safety instructions (section 4) before the
installation!
Compare the supply voltage (V) and the supply frequency (Hz) of your
mains power with the nameplate data on the plug transformer. These
data must agree.
Measure the distance between the setup location of the Aqua-Oxy pond
aerator and pond to determine the hose lengths.
Measure the length in such a manner that the flow stones can be placed in
the pond approximately 30 cm below the surface of the water.
Cut the hose lengths to size as needed.
Place the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator on a firm, stable surface. Ensure that
the device cannot fall into the water.
Lay out the air hoses in such a manner that there are no points where
a kink can occur, or where the hose can be crushed.
Suspend the flow stones in the pond approximately 30 cm below the
water surface.
Lay out the power cable so that it is protected, so that the possibility of
damage is excluded.
Plug the power plug into a permanently installed power outlet at a sufficient
distance from the water (see section 4.0 Safety instructions).
Then switch on the Aqua-Oxy pond aerator using the round button. The
green LED will be continuously illuminated. After a brief start up time air will
escape from the flow stones.
