■ Unscrew and remove pressure cup [1-4] / [1-7] / [1-13].
■ Pour material into pressure cup.
HRS-E variant
■ Place material container in pressure cup.
■ Insert suction pipe [1-3] into material container.
■ Screw on pressure cup.
■ Connect the appropriate wand using the quick connect coupling [1-15].
■ Use the air connection [1-12] to connect the pressure spray gun to the
compressed air circuit.
■ Operate the trigger [1-11] to start using the pressure spray gun.
■ Clean the pressure spray gun and wand after each use (see 11.2).
9.2. Checking the spray jet
To ensure the pressure spray gun is spraying properly, check the spray
at regular intervals in conjunction with the wands. This can be done by
spraying on paper or another suitable surface. The spray pattern must
show that the material is distributed evenly, surrounded by a fine mist. If
the spray pattern is incorrect, clean the wand (see 11.2) or adjust the inlet
pressure (see 7).
9.3. Adjust the spray jet (applies only to variant with materi-
al flow control)
Use the material flow control nut [1-21] to adjust the volumetric flow rate
of material and thus the spray jet. The volumetric flow rate will need to be
adjusted depending on the viscosity of the material used. The material
flow control nut usually needs to be unscrewed more for high viscosity
materials than for low viscosity materials.
■ Turning the material flow control nut [1-21] counterclockwise increases
the material flow rate.
■ Turning the material flow control nut [1-21] clockwise decreases the
material flow rate.
■ Secure the appropriate setting using the lock nut [1-20].
9.4. Refilling with material
Removing the pressure cup
■ Shut off compressed air supply to pressure spray gun.
■ Unscrew and remove pressure cup [1-4] / [1-7] / [1-13]; this simultane-
ously bleeds the pressure spray gun via the cup threading.
■ Fill pressure cup with material.
