Exiting programming

Programming can be exited in a number of different ways. The unit also switches automatically out of
programming mode and returns to normal mode under certain circumstances.
A) Programming mode is automatically deactivated if no key on the input keypad is actuated within
15 seconds of switching to programming mode.
B)
The code is imported
programming a code. Programming mode is automatically deactivated.
C)
Programming mode is automatically deactivated if, after inputting a minimum of two digits, no
further key is actuated for four seconds.
+
D) The
key can be actuated after inputting the last digit if the code has less than six digits
code is imported
E) Programming can be interrupted by actuating the
an input error). The code digits entered previously are
remains valid. Programming mode is deactivated and should be reactivated if necessary.

Special code number cases

A few special cases should be noted, as a total of four codes can be programmed with the unit. An
input is accepted as soon as a valid code is identified in its full length. This means that the digit
sequence of a short code cannot be contained in a long code.
Examples:
A) A main code 0

already identified at the fourth digit when the main code is input, and the door is released
immediately. (This has no influence on continuous unlocking, as the complete code is required
for this.)
B) The user code receives continuous unlocking authorisation if the first digits of a longer user
code (e.g.
123
897) are identical to a short main code (e.g.
first three digits of the user code as the valid main code.

Programming rules

Please follow the following three rules when programming the unit to avoid malfunctions or problems
which can arise as a result of overlapping or contradictions.
1.) Note respective valid codes and keep these notes in a safe place. They will provide information
on the actual status when a programming change is to be realised (see Chpt. 6 for copy
template)
2.) User codes which are no longer required should always be deleted.
3.) Ensure that the digit sequence of a short code is not contained in a longer code when program-
ming several codes.
