8.3 Bad radial cut of jacket pipe
Possible cause
The saw blade of the rotary saw is
worn out.
The locking pin did not lock into
radial position after longitudinal
cut.

Possible cause
The radial cut has not been done
over the complete pipe circumfer-
ence

Foam element can't be removed
without higher forces or can't be
remove at all from the inner pipe
The radial cut has not been done

Possible cause
The peeling blade is blunt
Spindle nut is not locked

Solution
Replace saw blade, see separate Makita
manual.
Lock the locking pin after turning the rotary
saw.
Check the battery of the rotary saw or if a spac-
er is between media pipe and jacket pipe
Solution
Repeat radial cut
Abhilfe
Check if radial cut has been deep enough. Only
use saw blades recommended by GF
Repeat radial cut
Solution
Replace peeling blade and peel again
Put spindle nut to position 'closed' when
peeling
