❐ Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
1. Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents have not sustained any damage
from transport. If you identify damages to the components, do not use them (!), instead
contact the customer service department.
2. The device and accessories may have residues from production. To prevent health risks,
clean the ceramic plate as well as the raclette and wok pans thoroughly before first use (see
chapter "Cleaning and storage").
3. The first time you use the device, do so without food as residual coating could cause a small
amount of odour or smoke to form. Let the device heat up without food and without pans
for approximately 15 minutes. In the process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e. g.
with windows that have been opened wide!
