usIng
before using the kettle
it is recommended to wash the kettle before beginning of using. for this it
must be filled with water up to the maximal level, the water must be boiled
and drained.
usIng of the kettle
1. take the kettle off the base and press the lid opening button.
2. fill the kettle with water.
note
do not fill the kettle up with water above the maximal level mark — other-
wise water may begin splashing through the nose of the kettle, when it
begins boiling.
3. close the lid tightly.
4. put the kettle onto the base and connect to the electrical network.
5. switch the kettle on, pressing the switch — the light indicator will go
on at this. after water comes to a boil, the kettle will switch off auto-
matically.
note
Before switching on make sure, that the lid of the kettle is tightly closed.
note
do not touch the surfaces of the kettle, which are heated up.
note
in order to switch the kettle off before water comes to a boil, press the
switch or simply take the kettle off the base.
6. take the kettle off the base and use the hot water for its purpose.
note
Be careful, when handling a kettle, filled with hot water.
7. put the kettle onto the base. the kettle will not switch on, till you press
the switch again.
note
if the kettle is not used, disconnect it from the electrical network.
if you switch on an empty kettle, it will switch off automatically. in this
case, before pouring water into the kettle, you must wait for a while, in
order that the kettle would cool down.
storage compartment for the power cord
for safety purposes remove a redundant section of the power cord into the
storage compartment, in order to have the minimal necessary length of the
cord from the socket to the kettle.
