PrecautIons When usIng electrIc aPPlIances
Precautions, necessary when using the kettle.
• do not leave a kettle, filled with boiling water or hot water in places,
accessible for children.
• when a kettle, filled with water above the maximal level mark, is boiling,
water may splash out of the kettle.
• do not allow hanging of the power cord from a table — it can be pulled
because of carelessness or children may pull by it.
• do not move a switched on kettle.
• if the kettle is not used, disconnect it from the electrical network.
• do not switch on an empty kettle.
• use the kettle only with the base, which is a part of the set.
• do not use the kettle on inclined or unsteady surfaces.
• adjust the length of the power cord, reeling it up into the storage com-
partment in the base of the kettle.
• Before switching on make sure, that the lid of the kettle is closed tightly.
• always be careful with vapour, which goes out of the nose of the kettle,
and when opening the lid of the kettle, filled with hot water.
• do not use the kettle for boiling other liquids, besides water.
• do not fill the kettle up with water above the maximal level mark.

would observe certain precautions, when you use electric appliances.
Rules of electrical safety, which must be observed, when using electric ap-
pliances, are listed below:
• Read attentively and keep the instruction, attached to the electric ap-
pliance.
• Before connecting the power cord plug to a socket or disconnecting it,
make sure, that the kettle is switched off. when you disconnect the kettle
from the electrical network, do not pull by the power cord.
