the electrical network.
• use electric appliances with an extension cord only in that case, if the
cord has been examined by a qualified electrician or a service centre spe-
cialist.
• make sure, that the voltage in the network corresponds with the nominal
power supply voltage of the electric appliance.
• the kettle is not intended for use by children or disabled adults without
proper control.
• do not allow children to play with the electric appliance.
• never leave a switched on kettle without observation.
• use the kettle only for its designated purpose in strict compliance with
the operating instruction.
• do not put the kettle onto a gas or an electric stove. do not put it onto
other electric appliances.
• watch, that the power cord would not touch surfaces or objects, which
warm up quickly.
• if the kettle functions wrong, and in cases of mechanical or other da-
mages of the appliance itself, the power cord or its plug, visit a service
centre. in order to avoid injury with electric current, do not switch the
kettle on, until malfunctions are removed.
• never immerse the kettle, the power cord and the power cord plug into
water or another liquid.
• the kettle is not intended for connection through an external timer or
other distance control systems.
