Problem

14. CLEANING AND CARE
Before every cleaning remove the power adapter (23) from the mains socket and the power
plug from the supply socket at the appliance.
If the appliance is dusty, clean the exterior with a lightly damp cloth.
Do not under any circumstances use wax, polish sprays, chemicals, alcohol or other harsh
agents to clean the exterior.
Possible cause
The supply plug or the power
adapter (23) is not connected
properly.
The battery is empty or not
correctly inserted.
Distance between appliance and
remote control is too big.
The volume is set too high.
The volume is set too low.
The network cable is not
connected.
A firewall is activated on the
network.
The access point is too far away.
The WEP / WPA / WPA2
password is wrong
The station may not be available
currently.
No Internet access.
The alarm is turned off.
The volume of the alarm settings
is too low.
3.5 mm audio cable (not
supplied) is not inserted correctly.
Malfunction due to electrostatic
discharge.
The Internet bandwidth is too
low.
Solution
Check if the supply power adapter (23) is
properly connected to appliance or select
another power socket.
If this does not help, leave the alliance
unplugged before seeking advice.
Check that the battery is correctly inserted.
Replace if necessary.
Reduce the distance between the remote
control and the appliance and make sure
there are no obstacles between them.
Aim the remote directly at the appliance.
Check the volume setting on both the radio
and your device and adjust the volume to a
suitable level.
Increase the volume.
Connect the network cable.
Set the respective program in such a way
that access is possible.
Place the appliance closer to the access
point.
Use the correct WEP / WPA / WPA2
password.
Try it again later or select another station.
Check the network as well as the access
point and firewall.
Switch on the alarm.
Increase the volume in the alarm settings.
Ensure that the connecting 3.5 mm audio
cable (not supplied) is correctly plugged in on
both devices and plugs are fully inserted.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
adapter (23) Connect the power cord again to
an electrical outlet.
Check your Internet connection.
