Press the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons (27) / (38) / (28) / (37) to select sleep timer, and then press the
SELECT button (7) / (36) to confirm.
11. SETTING AN ALARM
The appliance must be turn on for setting an alarm.
Press the ALARM button (13) / (32) and the display (2) shows "Alarm (1 or 2): Off [00:00]".
Press the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons (27) / (38) / (28) / (37) to select the Alarm number (1 or 2) and
then press the SELECT button (7) / (36) to start the setting of the following parameters:
Enable
Time
Mode
Preset
Volume
Save
Finally, select "Save" and press the SELECT button (7) / (36) to save the alarm setting. When
the alarm is set, the alarm icon will appear on the display (2) during the on/standby mode.
To turn off the alarm when it sounds, press the button (8) / (24) or the ALARM button
(13) / (32).
During Standby mode, press the ALARM button (13) / (32) repeatedly to turn the saved Alarm
on/off.
11.1 Cancelling the alarm
The appliance must be turn on for cancelling the alarm.
Press the ALARM button (13) / (32). The display (2) shows "Alarm (1 or 2): On [00:00]".
Press the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons (27) / (38) / (28) / (37) to select the Alarm number (1 or 2) and
then press the SELECT button (7) / (36) to start the setting of the timer.
Press the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons (27) / (38) / (28) / (37) to select Enable then press the SELECT
button (7) / (36) to confirm.
Press the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons (27) / (38) / (28) / (37) select "off" then press the SELECT
button (7) / (36) to confirm.
Finally, select "Save" and press the SELECT button (7) / (36) to save the setting.
Note: If no button is pressed within approx. 15 seconds, the appliance exits timer setting
mode automatically.
11.2 Snooze function
The appliance must be turn on for the snooze function. If the appliance is in the standby
mode and an alarm starts, the appliance will be automatically turned on. No need to turn on
the appliance manually.
When the alarm has started (Buzzer or Internet radio), the snooze function can be activated
by pressing the SNOOZE button (7) / (43).
The alarm icon starts flashing on the display (2). The alarm stops and starts automatically
again after selectable 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes (press the SNOOZE button (7) / (43)
repeatedly and wait 2 seconds until the display (2) returns to the time indication). The
remaining time until the next alarm is shown on the right of the flashing alarm icon. The alarm
can be switched off several times.
To cancel the Snooze function, press the button (8) / (24) or the ALARM button (13) / (32).
Note that the alarm remains set and will be activated again according to your alarm setting.
12. HEADPHONE JACK
A 3.5 mm type stereo headphone jack (19) is located at the back of the appliance. Connect
a set of stereo headphones (not included) to this jack for private listening without disturbing
others. The speakers are automatically disconnected when the headphones are in use.
Note: When using headphones always set the volume to a low level before you put the
headphones on. Then insert the headphones and gradually increase the volume to a
comfortable listening level.
Caution: Long-term exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage. It is best to avoid
extreme volume when using earphones, especially for extended periods of time.
