Press the button (8) at the appliance or the button (24) on remote
control and the setup wizard screen is shown on the display (2). See Fig. 3.
The display (2) shows "Start now?" (Fig. 3). Confirm then with the SELECT button (7) / (36)
the option YES. Follow the instructions on the screen. After the setup wizard is completed,
the Main menu appears on the display (2). ( 4.4 Navigating in the system menu)
4.2

Switching the appliance on and to standby

Press the button (8) on the appliance or the button (24) on remote control to switch the
„
appliance on. If the appliance was disconnected from the mains, the display (2) lights up
and shows briefly "Welcome to Internet Radio" and tries to receive time/date from Internet.
Otherwise it will show the last mode/menu.
Press the button (8) on the appliance or the button (24) on remote control to switch the
„
appliance back to standby mode. The display (2) shows time/date and it will be dimmed after
a few seconds.
To completely switch off the appliance, disconnect the power adapter (23) from the wall
outlet. Turn off the appliance completely to save energy when not in use.
Note: The appliance will automatically switch to the standby mode after 15 minutes of
„
inactivity. Press the button (8) on the appliance or the button (24) on remote control to
switch on the appliance again.

Setting volume level

Rotate the ◄ VOLUME ► (1) at the appliance repeatedly one step to the right or left or press
„
the VOL +/- (29) / (39) buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume. You can also keep
the ◄ VOLUME ► (1) turned in one direction. After approx. 1 second the volume will be
increased respectively decreased.
If you wish to turn the sound off, press the MUTE button (41) on the remote control. Press the
„
MUTE button (41) again or press the VOL +/- buttons (29) / (39) on the remote control or turn
the ◄ VOLUME ► (1) to resume normal listening.

Navigating in the menu

Press the MENU button (6) / (26) to access the function menu.

on the remote to select your choice.
Press the SELECT button (7) / (36) to confirm your selection.

Unless otherwise stated, all operations described are based on the appliance and remote
control use. After pressing the MENU button (6) / (26), the appliance will automatically exit the
menu and will return to the former function.

Selecting a mode

Press repeatedly the MODE button (9) / (33) on the remote control to choose the desired

mode. You can choose between "Internet radio", "Music player" and "AUX in". The selected
mode source briefly appears on the display (2).
The source selection is saved in the memory even after the appliance is switched to standby
„
or completely disconnected from the power source.
Choose source "AUX in" when connecting an external device with a 3.5 mm audio cable (not
„
included) to the AUX-IN socket (20).
Last listened, Station list, System settings, Main menu
Shared media, USB playback, My playlist, etc.
