HOW TO OPERATE THE CONVECTOR FAN

The convector fan is operated by means of a control panel (available in three versions) which can be fixed to the wall
or machine. On this, it is hidden under one of the two side covers (the control panel will be installed on either the left
or right side, depending on the position of the bank).
1: How to turn the appliance on/off:
• Open the cover if the panel is mounted on the machine (version
VM-B/VM-F only).
• Switch the position of the top selector. A led will come on to indica-
te that the convector fan is operating (with the exception of versions
CMR-F and CM-F).
• Close the cover again (version VM-B/VM-F).
2: Temperature control:
• Open the cover if the panel is mounted on the machine (version
VM-B/VM-F only)
• Use the knob to select the required temperature (with the exception
of versions CMR-F and CM-F). The temperature corresponding to
the central position of the knob (pos.0) is:
- Winter rate: 20°C
- Summer rate: 25°C
• Close the cover again (version VM-B/VM-F only)
3: Ventilation control:
• Open the cover if the panel is mounted on the machine (version
VM-B/VM-F only)
• Turn the selector to one of the three available speed in order to
obtain the desired performance.
• Close the cover again (version VM-B/VM-F only)
4: Seasonal mode:
• Open the cover if the panel is mounted on the machine (version
VM-B/VM-F only)
• Turn the selector as illustrated below:
- : To operate in heating mode
- : To operate in cooling mode.
- AUTO: in this mode, the convector fan is able to "understand" the
operating mode required (with the exception of versions CMR-F
and CM-F).
• Close the cover again (version VM-B/VM-F only)
5: Economy key (versions TER-F and TE-F only)
This function allows the winter and summer set-points to be changed.
• Open the cover if the panel is mounted on the machine (version
VM-B/VM-F only)
• Press the economy button. A led will indicate that the function has
been activated, thus:
• The fan will operate at minimum speed.
• The temperature corresponding to the central position of the knob
(pos.0) is:
- Winter rate: 17°C
- Summer rate: 28°C
• Close the cover again (version VM-B/VM-F only)
