In order to avoid turbulence as a result
of pipe bending which can falsify the
measurement results, a straight inlet
distance of 10 x DN and a straight outlet
distance of 5 x DN should be planned.

The electronics housing with display can be
rotated through 370°.
For plant-specifi c reasons earth potential
diff erences between pipeline and reference
earth may occur. Earth the pipeline before
and after the fl owmeter to eliminate these
diff erences.
Important:
To guarantee the measuring
accuracy, the GEMÜ 3030
must be installed in the fi lled
pipeline at least 24 hours before
measurement.
