GT750 Bluetooth GPS Logger

Intended use
This Bluetooth GPS Logger receives coordinate data via GPS (up to 65 satellites at the same
time) and stores them with date and time. It thus allows the storage of up to 256,000 waypoints.
The recording intervals of the waypoints can be set. Photos can then be accurately attributed to
the route. In addition, the stored data can be exported and integrated into 3D Maps, such as
Google Maps.
This Bluetooth GPS Logger uses Bluetooth 2.0 and is compatible with Bluetooth products, which
support the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (PPS).
The product supports A-GPS (Assisted Global Positioning System)
The product must not become damp or wet.
Power is supplied via a 3.7V (1000 mAh, LI-ION) battery or via a 12-24V/DC car charger. The
included battery allows an operating time of up to 13 hours.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These instruc-
tions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire operating
manual before using the product.

Explanation of the Symbols
The lightening symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks for person-
al injury, such as electric shock.
This symbol, with an exclamation mark in a triangle, indicates particular dangers
associated with handling, function or operation.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not accept any liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions.
The warranty will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of this product is not
permitted because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the product
emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to the malfunction of life-
support systems. The same may be the case in other areas.
• The supplied system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around.
• When the system components are taken from a cold to a warm room (e.g. during
transport), condensation may be formed. This could damage the product. There
is also the danger of a fatal electric shock! Wait until the systemcomponents have
reached room temperature before using them.
• The supplied components of this system must not become damp or wet.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or acciden-
tal drops, even from a low height.

Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by chil-
dren or pets. Ifswallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on contact
with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that the batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, taken to pieces or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-
teries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries or rechargeable
batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss
of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter „Disposal".
Display and Operating Elements
1) Battery and charging status LED
A yellow LED indicates that the battery
voltage is low and the Bluetooth GPS
Logger should be charged. A red LED indi-
cates that the battery is currently charging.
The LED flashes blue in case the device is
searching
Bluetooth devices.
2) Bluetooth Status LED
If this LED flashes (1 second ON/3 sec-
onds OFF), then the Bluetooth is enabled
and ready for data transfer.
If this LED flashes (0.5 seconds ON/3 sec-
onds OFF), then data are currently trans-
mitted via Bluetooth.
Inserting / replacing the battery
• Pull the battery compartment cover on the back of the device downwards off.
• Insert the supplied battery into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (pay
attention to correct position).
• Put the battery compartment cover back to close the battery compartment again.
Start-up
• Press and hold the switch ON/OFF button for about 2 seconds to turn the Bluetooth GPS
Logger on.
• Put the Bluetooth GPS Logger in a position taht allows a good receive signal (in the open air).
• Turn your Bluetooth device on (e.g. PDA/PC/mobile phone).
• Allow your Bluetooth device to search for Bluetooth accessories. In case of a password
prompt, enter a password, enter „0000".
• Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and OperatingMaterials are
to be observed.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical service or another specialist.
