Cleaning the accordion filter
If you notice that even after having emptied the dust collector, the suction power is reduced,
clean the accordion filter. To do so:
 Take out the dust collector as described above.
 Remove the lid of the dust collector.
 Rotate the accordion filter clockwise from the dust collector's lid until it is unlocked.
 Take the nylon filter from the accordion filter. If necessary, wash it in soapsuds. Make sure
it is dry before putting it back in place.
 Rinse the bracket and accordion filter in water, if necessary with help of a soft brush, and
dry them completely. Never put them in the dishwasher and never dry them with a hair
dryer.
 To put the nylon filter and the accordion filter back, proceed inversely.
NOTE: After a certain number of cleanings the filters will be damaged or impossible to get back
in their initial shape. In such case, please contact the nearest customer service to obtain new
filters.
Cleaning the dust collector
Clean the inside of the dust collector with a damp cloth or sponge, but make sure it is totally
dry before using the appliance again.

PRACTICAL HINTS


When cleaning stairs, we advise you to keep the unit in a vertical position.

The vacuum cleaner requires no regular maintenance other than the filter cleaning tasks
as detailed here above.

If you notice a loss of suction power, it is probably due to one or a combination of the
following events: blocked filter, full dust collector or blockage in tubes. If your appliance
still does not work properly after you have checked those problems, please ask a qualified
electrician for advice.

International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced and
folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x
210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don‟t change
the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.
