10. Choosing a Location

a) PIR Sensor (Motion Detection)

Camera recording angle is 72º (horizontal), 60º (vertical).
Horizontal angles indicated below:

b) Desk or Shelf

The base of the frame may leave marks or scratch sensitive surfaces.
The PIR detection angle will be affected by the angle of the frame resting on the table.
Take into consideration the frame angle and how far away from the edge of the table
it is positioned.

c) Wall Mount

• Plastic wall plugs and screws have been included for wall mounting.
• Check if the included screws and wall plugs are suitable for the wall material.
• If in doubt contact a specialist.

The PIR sensor may not work
correctly behind glass.
The PIR sensor is integrated into the product
and responds to temperature changes within
the detection range e.g. humans or animals
whose temperatures differ from the ambient
temperature.
For best detection, position the sensor so the
object does not walk directly towards it, but
crosses from left to right or vice versa.
- PIR horizontal detection angle 60º.
- PIR detection distance up to 5 m.
