9. Operation

a) Camera ON / OFF

• To turn the camera ON, press and hold Power (9) until the blue LED lights up.
• To turn the camera OFF, press and hold Power (9) until the blue and red LED alternate then
turn off.
• If the camera turns off automatically, it may be because:
- The battery power is too low and the battery needs to be charged.
- The camera has been in standby mode without any operation for longer than 1 minute. In
this case, the camera switches off to save battery power.
b) Record Video
If continuous recording is "off", the device will turn off when the microSD card is full. If
continuous recording "on", old videos will be overwritten when the microSD card gets
full. To turn "on" or "off", see section "Setting Date, Time and Continuous Recording."
• Press Power (9) to turn the camera ON, then press REC (10) to record.
• The blue LED will flash 3 times then goes off.
• Press REC (10) button again to stop recording, the blue light will stay on.
• The device will enter standby mode.
If no microSD is inserted, the blue LED will flash for 3 seconds then turn off.
