1. Installing and removing the locking sleeve

The locking sleeve may be installed
or removed by qualified personnel
only. Please contact a local, licensed
plumber.
To easily remove the locking sleeve
without damage, please use the instal-
lation tool (JRG Code 8140.000).
If you do not use this tool, the locking
sleeve may be damaged during
removal. A damaged or incomplete
locking sleeve must not be installed
again and is to be replaced with a
new one (JRG Code 1386.320).
Removal procedure:
- Remove rosette.
- Use a suitable hexagon key to turn the
JRGURED UP cartridge or by-pass plug
counter-clockwise until it stops.
- Put the cylindrical end of the installation tool
on the locking sleeve and push until it stops.
