Start-up

To use the scales, a type CR2032, 3V battery is required.
1. Slide the battery compartment cover off in the di-
rection of the imprinted arrow.
2. Push the battery against the contact spring and un-
der the large, square retaining tab. The battery then
snaps into place under the opposite retaining collar,
so that it sits firmly in its socket.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus
pole (+) must point upwards.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover back into
place.

Weighing
1. Press the operating button.
For a brief moment all of the indicators on the illumi-
nated display will be shown. Then, "0.00 kg" (stand-
ard setting) will be displayed.
