Assembly instructions
Remove the power plug before all
work on the device. Employ only
original parts.
Unpacking
Unpack the device and check whether it is
complete:
•
Leaf vacuum motor part
•
Additional grip
•
Two-part suction tube
•
collection bag with bag holder nozzle
•
carrying strap
Mounting (see fig. 2)
Fitting the two-part suction tube :
1. Fit the two parts of the suction tube together.
The appliance may only be used with
the suction tube and leaf bag properly
fitted. The two parts of the suction tube
click into place when joined, and cannot
then be separated without tools (for dis-
mantling the tube, see the chapter on
storage/dismantling).
2. Insert the suction tube into the suction inlet/
blow outlet on the motor part.
3. Fasten the suction tube using the bolts
supplied.
Fitting the additional grip:
4. Fit the hand grip onto the clip in the mo-
tor housing. Fasten the hand grip in the
desired position using the accompanying
fastening bolt.
Mounting the collection bag:
5. Fit the holding frame onto the opening on
the motor part so that the holding clips
click audibly as they snap home on the
side. The collection bag must point to-
50
wards the suction tube. The unit may only
be operated with the collection bag fitted.
6. Attach the loop of the collection bag to
the vacuum tube.
Attaching carrying strap:
7. Hang the carrying strap onto its bracket
and adjust it to the ideal length.
